Our vision

We are Youth Challenge International (YCI), a christian youth movement founded by the Christian Missionary Fellowship International (CMFI) in 2015. Our goal is simply to reach young people of all ages—because we believe that you are young at heart—with the good news of the Gospel, enabling them to have life-changing encounters with God so that they become disciples of the Lord Jesus. This is how we strive to follow the commandment of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20.

To achieve this goal, we organise conferences or retreats once or twice a year on topics that are relevant to young people and can connect them to Christ: Salvation (redemption, healing, deliverance, etc.) 🤩, excellence in studies 📚, in work or training 👨🏼‍🏫, social engagement 🤲🏼, financial management 💸, etc. so that young people can find meaning in their lives through a personal relationship with their Creator, experience well-being in all things, and thereby also become relevant to society.

Practically speaking, we also place great importance on young people discovering and expressing their talents, e.g. singing, dancing, painting, and using them to glorify God and help their fellow human beings. We seek out experienced christian mentors who enrich our audience in these various areas. Afterwards, we always hear more and more from young people who attend our events and have been changed by God. We have named these retreats ‘DESTINY CAMP’ and they take place over the Easter weekend. These are times when we disconnect from everyday life and come closer to God together in order to find our ‘destiny’ or calling.

Organizing such an event is extremely costly and requires enormous resources 😢. There are costs for accommodation in a hotel, organizational costs for transportation, room reservations, various meals and many other financial burdens. For this reason, the Youth Challenge International organization has used its own resources to make the event affordable for most participants 🥳.
