Good Morning Everyone,

I am here to give a testimony on what the Youth Challenge Bible Quiz has done for me. This quiz has helped in my social and spiritual life. Through this quiz I have learnt various study habits.

For instance, I usually spend more time playing than studying, but now thanks to the Youth Challenge Bible Quiz, I now spend more time studying the word than playing. his Bible Quiz has also drawn me closer to God and has me more eager than ever to study His Word.

I encourage you to join the Youth Challenge Bible Quiz Ministry; it is the greatest thing that can happen to you as you study God’s word.

I had the opportunity to participate in the Youth Challenge Bible Quiz Tournament in May 2005. The experience has made me a better person in that, I now find it a pleasure to study God’s word. Studying God’s word has changed my whole life.

1. I focus more on studying my school work rather than watching TV.
2. I now feel closer to God and study the Bible more regularly.

As long as I live I will always bear in mind the words of 2. Timothy 2:15. Here I quote: Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

Howard Cooke’s principal testifies to correlation of academic
Performance and students’ involvement

Over the years I have watched the performance of our students in the academics and have noticed that by and large, the students who are involved in extra-codal activities have been outstanding. This leads me to conclude that there is strong correlation between academic performance and extra-codal activities. For instance the students who won scholarships over the years were involved either in sports, the aesthetics or uniformed groups. Others who did not win scholarships have gone on to do well in CXC and other examinations. To also underscore this truism the students who participated in the Youth Challenge Bible Quiz and won the competition have all done well in their exams.

My recommendation therefore is to encourage students to get themselves involved in as many activities as possible as it not only helps them to excel but it makes them more rounded students.
